7.1 African drumming in Ghana

African drumming is known for its polyrhythms.  Here, a master drummer improvises over a front row of drummers (all playing different beats, a middle line of percussion who hold it together and a back row of chanting).  This recording comes from Big Milly’s compound near Kokrobite beach in Ghana and also features dancing.
